The efficiency of suction in the cooling tunnels depends on their design and proper dimensioning. Through years of experience and close collaboration with the foundries specialists, we have perfected the design of these tunnels, focusing on the optimization of free sections and ease of maintenance and inspection.
Our suction system integrates strategic outlets located on the roof of the tunnel, which direct the air flow to an advanced set of bag filters. Given the fine nature of the particles involved, we carefully select the filter material, seeking an optimal balance between filtration efficiency and air permeability.
In cases where the process generates unpleasant odors - resulting from the interaction between the molten metal and the shape - we propose an additional solution: a single-stage purifier. It is equipped with a special filling medium and an automatic reagent regeneration system, thus ensuring an efficient neutralization of odorous substances.
The heart of our ventilation system is represented by one or more high-performance centrifugal fans, depending on the required air flow. To optimize the energy consumption, these fans are controlled by frequency variators, allowing for fine adjustment of the depression in the system.
With this integrated approach, we not only ensure effective control of emissions and odors, but we also contribute to creating a healthier and more comfortable working environment in foundries, while aligning ourselves with the latest energy efficiency and environmental protection standards.
