In the shake-out process, one of the main challenges is to manage large amounts of extremely fine dust. To deal with this situation, specialized cabins, either closed or open, are used, depending on the specific needs of the process.
For open cabins, an innovative solution has been developed that combines air curtains with suction systems. This approach, known as the „Push and Pull” system, creates an effective barrier against dust dispersion, thus maximizing the efficiency of the capture.
The design of the filtration system takes into account several factors, including the nature of the dust and its behavior at different temperatures. Emphasis is placed on maintaining a reduced air flow speed in the filter, and the filter material is carefully chosen – being polyester, polypropylene or acrylic – to best suit working conditions.
To make the process more efficient, the filter is equipped with an automatic dust removal system collected. It uses an Archimedes and rotating valve bolt combination to transfer dust either in large bags or in a pneumatic transport system.
The entire system is set in motion by a high-performance fan, equipped with an inverter to optimize energy consumption. In cases where there is a risk of condensation due to the air flow temperature, thermal insulation is applied to protect both the filter elements and the filter structure from the possible corrosive effects of acid condensation.
