Steel melting furnaces produce a considerable amount of smoke at the time of loading and exhaust, while during melting the phenomenon subsides. In order to achieve the most efficient suction, without creating obstacles for operators, we have developed pneumatic/electric movement suction arms / suctions, automatically controlled by the oven through a customized software.
The high temperatures involved require the use of suitable materials and special components, such as expansion joints and rolling rollers. The pretreatment, if necessary, is carried out by cyclones or spark-extinguishing chambers, formed by a parallelepiped with a special labyrinth-shaped board interspersed. In this latter case, the reduced pressure loss contributes to the energy saving of the plant.
Purification of fine substances is entrusted to Pulse Jet bag filters with longitudinal input chamber. The particularity of these filters lies in the special separation wall of the room, the result of an in-depth study carried out by our technicians with specific software simulations, which highlighted the preferential paths of air flows in operating conditions.
Filter bags, of various sizes depending on the air flows, are made of Teflon-shaped and/or polyester aramid felt.
