The exhaust Lead smelters, made through specialized cabins and/or hotels, involves the treatment of toxic polluting flows at extremely high temperatures, frequently exceeding 200°C.
To optimize the process, air/air heat exchangers are often implemented, together with settling chambers designed to retain coarse and incandescent particles.
Filtration systems use bag filters equipped with Fiberglass filter medium, enhanced with PTFE membrane, these demonstrating a remarkable efficiency in capturing micron dust and thus ensuring strict compliance with the emission limits for lead particles in the atmosphere.
In the specific case of Lead refining basins, an innovative mobile suction system has been developed, consisting of a piling-mounted rotating air blade, providing increased flexibility and efficiency in operations. Given the high concentration of dust sucked into these applications, a pre-battery system is required, followed by final filtration by means of a bag filter to retain fine residual particles.
The whole assembly is managed through an advanced electrical panel, incorporating a programmable logic controller (PLC) and an integrated surveillance system, allowing continuous monitoring and optimization of the operational parameters of the plant, thus ensuring maximum performance in control of emissions and environmental protection in the lead metallurgical industry.
