complete wash line and Recycling of construction and demolition materials (R&D) It is designed for sustainable processing of waste in this sector.

The main role of this facility is to maximize the recovery of reusable materials such as sand, gravel and aggregates, and to reduce as much waste as possible to landfills. This advanced technology is aimed at companies in the construction, recycling and local administration industry that want to comply with environmental regulations and contribute to the circular economy.

The operation of the facility involves a number of processes, including Washing, separating, classifying and dehydrating materials, using high performance equipment. The system integrates water treatment and sludge management, thus ensuring a minimal impact on the environment and high efficiency in the use of resources.

Processed materials

The recycling line is designed to process a variable mixture of construction and demolition waste: soils and sand, gravel and aggregates, organic materials, wood scraps, metal, plastic and bricks.

The maximum processing capacity is 80 tons per hour, and the final products are classified into several granulometric fractions:

  • Aggregates of: +150 mm, +32 mm – 100 mm, +16 mm – 32 mm, +8 mm – 16 mm, +4 mm – 8 mm, +0 mm – 4 mm and fine sand

The main stages of the process

Initial power supply and separation

The materials are fed through a High capacity hopper, equipped with a tape feeder. A separation system removes oversized waste (+100 mm), which is stored separately.

Washing and removing contaminants

Materials pass through a primary wash system (ultrascrub), which includes:

  • Logwashers for cleaning particles by friction;
  • magnetic separators for removing ferrous contaminants;
  • Spray bar washing systems for removing fine sand and organic materials.

Classification and dehydration of aggregates

Clean aggregates are classified on three floors, and each granulometric fraction is transported on dedicated conveyor belts.

Fine sand recovery

The sand is processed in the modules ultrasand, which include:

  • Hydrocyclones for the separation of fine particles;
  • Dehydration site for the production of a final product with low humidity.

Water treatment and sludge management

The water used in the process is treated and reused through an integrated water treatment system:

  • Thickener with a diameter of 10 meters for the separation of solids;
  • Polymers Preparation and Dosing Station for flocculation;
  • Filter Press For dehydrating the sludge and obtaining a dry product.

Main components of the facility

Washing and classification system

  • Ultrascrub: Includes logwashers and wash sites for removing contaminants.
  • Separator: used for the separation of fine sands and the elimination of organic particles.

Water treatment system

  • Thickener HRT-10: A sedimentation tank with reliquaries for collecting solids.
  • Polymer dosing station: automated for the preparation of the flocculant agent.
  • Filter Press: Sludge press with 195 plates, which produces a dry final cake.

conveyor belts

  • Conveyor belts are used for storing processed aggregates and sands. Each strip is equipped with cleaning and insulation systems.

General technical specifications

  • Processing Capacity: up to 80 tons/hour.
  • Final Products: 6 granulometric fractions of aggregates and sand.
  • Water treatment system: efficient recirculation of used water.
  • Installed power: It varies depending on the equipment used (motors up to 110 kW on the press and 45 kW in the pumps).

This complete washing and recycling line is an integrated solution for the construction and demolition industry, providing maximum recovery of valuable materials and reducing the environmental impact. Designed to meet the industry's strict requirements, the plant is equipped with state-of-the-art technologies and an advanced automation system for efficiency and reliability.
