How does the rubber carpet production line work?

• The mixing system homogenizes the granules and the binder according to the recipe (kg of granules, binder liters, cycle duration, etc.) established with the help of dedicated software.
• The homogenized product is evenly distributed in the mold.
• The mold is positioned for the chemical reaction. This time, estimated at approximately 23 hours, depends on the type of reagent used.
• When this chemical reaction is completed, the cylinder is extracted from the mold.
• The cylindrical block is then positioned on the cutting station.
• The required thickness is determined and the cutting station peels the rubber block, while the synchronized winding device creates the finished rubber roller.

• Compressed air controlled drainage container connected to the weighing system.
• It allows precise control of the amount of granules sent to the mixing system and allows the control software of the installation to ensure the correct dosage of the other components.

Mixing system

• Mix the rubber granules with the chemical binder.
• Complete with controlled feeder of rubber granules and reagent supply pump.

• Model the cylindrical block to be sent to the cutting station.
• Operated by a double-effect oleo-hydraulic cylinder (lifting and lowering) with manual and automatic control.
• The maximum pressing force is 100 tons.
• Oleohydraulic movement of the mold from the working position to the loading/discharging position.
• Individual operations can be performed manually using the specific switches.
• The full cycle operation can be automated with the help of dedicated software.

The mold

• Carbon steel cylinder painted with an internal layer of non-stick material.
• Designed in a set of sectors to allow the rubber cylinder to be extracted after the consolidation phase.

Cutting Station

• It cuts the previously produced cylinder very precisely and allows obtaining the thickness of the rubber carpet from 3 to 10 mm in steps of 1 mm.
