Refiner (hammer mill) waste for recovery of ferocious and non-ferrous metals – HMS HI

The refiners of the ITR HMS HI (High Impact) series are industrial type and designed for crushing and recycling the heaviest materials.

Thanks to the use of a new reinforced structure, Deavy-Duty hammers up to 50 kg and the use of a powerful electric motor up to 450 kW, this refiner can process large amounts of materials such as electric motors, light ferrous waste, metal waste (profile and aluminum housing).

Like all high-end ITR HMS models, they are equipped with the new „Out of Line” material evacuation system”, which can be adjusted via PLC. This system allows the waste stream to be diverted from the next recycling line, thus preventing the unprocessed material from affecting the subsequent stages of waste processing and recovery.

The loading conveyor belt can be anti-breaking rubber type or with metal blades for heavier materials.

All HMS series refiners have been designed to facilitate maintenance operations so as to minimize the time required to change the separators and hammers.
